FanDuel has launched its mobile sportsbook and its online horse racing and advanced deposit wagering platform, TVG, in Arizona, as well as its retail FanDuel Sportsbook lounge located inside the Footprint Center – home of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns.

The online gaming and sports betting operator has also selected Casino Cash Trac (CCT) to provide its cash management solution at its newest sportsbook facility in the Grand Canyon state.

The FanDuel Sportsbook lounge is the first of its kind to be located inside an NBA arena. To mark its opening, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Phoenix Suns alum, Channing Frye and NBA veteran Richard Jefferson officially opened the facility and placed ceremonial first bets.

Arizona is the 11th state where FanDuel offers mobile sports betting and its 10th state with a retail sportsbook location. In April, the operator announced a multi-year market access partnership with the Suns, designating itself as the NBA team’s official sportsbook and daily fantasy sports partner.

Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel Group, commented: “The fans of Arizona are some of the most passionate in sports, and that was evident during the Suns incredible playoff run this year.

“Together, FanDuel and the Suns share a mission of delivering absurdly fan-friendly experiences to our customers and we are excited to offer sports betting in a way that revolutionizes the live experience, and brings fans closer to the game. We are thankful to the Suns organization for their partnership and look forward to making our lounge in the Footprint Center one of the preeminent sportsbook locations in the entire country.”

The FanDuel Sportsbook at Footprint Center covers over 7,400 square feet, includes an outdoor terrace, and will serve as a place for fans to enjoy Suns games and other sporting events while placing wagers on the action. It will be open year-round and feature five betting windows, one VIP window, 40 HD televisions, a 35-foot video wall, an MVP Room, and 26 self-service betting kiosks.

In celebration of the NFL season kicking off, the sportsbook hosted a Thursday Night Football watch party for 500 fans, offering FanDuel customers in Arizona a spot to enjoy the first NFL game of the season with free food, merchandise giveaways, and access to special offers from the sportsbook team.

Suns President and CEO, Jason Rowley, added: “Today is a defining moment for our organization, fans, and the entire State of Arizona. We’re excited to partner with an innovative leader like FanDuel to bring the FanDuel Sportsbook to Footprint Center along with a multitude of new experiences to all sports fans.

“We’re committed to continuing to elevate the gameday experience and engaging fans at the highest level possible, and these new amenities are the latest example of our mission.”

Residents of Arizona can now also watch and wager on live horse racing through FanDuel’s TVG mobile app and website.

As previously mentioned, FanDuel has also selected Casino Cash Trac (CCT) to provide its cash management solution at the sportsbook facility at Footprint Center.

Wanor França, CRO for Casino Cash Trac, stated: “This partnership is a true win-win. CCT has been at helping casinos across the country with their Sportsbook operations and CCT is live in five other states with Sportsbook Operators.

“As we look to grow and enhance the cash management solutions for our casino clients and now sportsbook operators across the country, this is a great solution that the sportsbook industry needed. We are very excited with this partnership as we know the entire FanDuel team will deliver a best-in-class digital and in-person experience for their loyal guests.”

CCT has been helping US casinos with its CAS solution for cage operations and revenue audit automation since its inception in 2012, offering full integration with casino management systems, food & beverage systems, hotel systems, recyclers/kiosks/ATMs/cash dispensers all on a single platform for auditing, management reporting, data analytics and more.

With sportsbooks, CCT aims to deliver a complete cash management solution and help organizations to be able to adapt and perform audit functions for each venue. Audit can be centralized creating efficiencies for the operations.

França added: “We are honored FanDuel has chosen our Casino Insight solution for all their sportsbook cash management and audit needs. This will be the first stadium install for CCT and for FanDuel and we are excited to create efficiencies and savings for the entire team.”
