GeoComply has strengthened its offering and growth into the US market, after receiving its Temporary Certificate of Authority related to its Sports Wagering Service Provider License application in Louisiana.

This certificate will enable sports betting operators in Louisiana to engage with GeoComply’s geolocation compliance technology as well as IDComply, a KYC and AML solution.

“We are so pleased to be approved to service our clients and partners in Louisiana,” commented Lindsay Slader, Managing Director of Gaming at GeoComply. “The launch of sports in Louisiana has been eagerly awaited by the GeoComply team this fall and we are ready to support the deployment of online sports betting as quickly as the state is able to allow it.”

IDComply focuses on providing an expansive offering, allowing operators to tap into a wide portfolio of vendors for KYC and digital identity, to ensure compliance verification while delivering heightened levels of player acceptance in a compliant, efficient, and low-friction model.
