Sports data and technology company Stats Perform has formed a multi-year partnership with TicketSwift, with the latter joining the firm’s Sports Partners Intelligence Network (SPIN).

Stats Perform will work to provide its Premium level data and SmartRatings products to TicketSwift in order to support the company’s score, player data and dynamic headlines in real-time.

The SmartRating solution in particular will be used to create a ‘dynamic pricing model’ to boost ticket revenue, with the goal of providing fans greater information when making in-game ticket purchase decisions.

“We are very excited to be partnering with such an innovative and visionary company to jointly deliver such a compelling solution for sports fans and teams,” said Steve Xeller, Chief Revenue Officer, Stats Perform.

“As a member of our SPIN partner ecosystem, TicketSwift is poised to accelerate market awareness and adoption side-by-side with Stats Perform.”

A start-up company, TicketSwift maintains partnerships with sports organisations such as the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA),  offering its clients assistance in selling in-game tickets after fixtures have begun.

The firm aims to allow sports fans to buy tickets online once a game has started and prevent unsold tickets from becoming unusable inventory using its ‘patent pending technology’ and by offering a ‘dynamic price’ to maximise revenues from unsold tickets.

Ron Warner, Founder of TicketSwift, said: “We recognise and appreciate what the ticket industry companies have done over the years to create their infrastructures and recognise how hard it is to change their core software applications.

“This is why we will create solutions to play along with everyone’s systems, giving the fan the best possible experience across multiple platforms.”

By joining the SPIN network – which combines Stats Perform’s sports intelligence offerings with its top partners to develop complementary solutions for joint customers and the sports market – TicketSwift joins a range of sports tech companies including ChyronHego, wTVision, Sport Buff and Sportsfever360.
